We have had a pretty lite week because Altan, the lady we teach English to four days a week, slipped, fell, and broke her hand. We have missed her coming in because she is so fun to teach! Hopefully she will be well enough to return soon.
On Thursday, the Hunts and us took those that work downstairs with us out for an 'Appreciation for all you do' lunch. Taylor just started working as the Hunt's translator this week but he has helped us with some temple classes and other translations. Miigaa works in our office, Bolormaa is President Odgerel's secretary and works with us on PEF, and Batsengel runs the BYU computer lab. We went to an Indian restaurant and the food was good, and the company was even better.
On Friday we had a baptism at Nalaikh. This is the sister with the sister missionaries that have been teaching her including one who finished her mission a couple of months ago. This sister is 61 years old, has been investigating the Church for over 5 months, is hard of hearing, and has a great spirit about her. She was so excited to get baptized and is now praying that her family may someday have an interest to learn about the gospel too. She is a wonderful addition to the branch.
Elder and Sister Shrope,
ReplyDeleteWe are the parents of Elder Neuberger. We appreciate your pictures. Thanks for blogging.
It has been fun getting to know your son. Our youngest son served his mission in the St. Louis Missouri mission.
